ABOUT SAM MEADOR
Sam Meador is a die-hard Lubbock local who has spent his entire life living and loving the city. Growing up, his father worked in the home building business which allowed Sam to grow a passion and knowledge for real estate. Sam graduated from Coronado High School and went on to study business management at South Plains College and Texas Tech University.
Right after college, he worked for a window and siding company and dabbled in real estate investments until making the transition to become a REALTOR in 2017. He’s been a REALTOR for two years but says he’s always had an interest in the field.
His favorite thing about being a REALTOR is how every day brings something different and new. He loves challenges, negotiating, helping people save money, creative problem-solving, and working with different kinds of people. His favorite things about working for McDougal are his coworkers and the wealth of knowledge his sales manager, Doug Duncan, brings to the team.
Sam believes what sets him apart is the way he digs deep to really get to know his clients’ background and story, in order to help find the perfect home. “I want people to know it’s more than just opening doors and turning on lights for me. I understand buying a home is one of the biggest and most important transactions they will make in their lives, and I want to educate and ensure that it’s done safely and smartly.”
Due to his upbringing and background, Sam knows and understands a house more than just the wall color, layout, and flooring. He looks deeper at things that most may not even know or think about. Being a local, he’s fostered many personal friendships with people throughout the community, who provide his clients with resources and services he trusts.
